I'm the CEO & Co-Founder of Gaia, a sustainable investing app for everyone.
I'm a product leader driven by creating products that help people and improve the world.
My personal mission is to build products that improve people's lives and change the world for the better. To achieve this, I am building Gaia.
This website is my personal corner of the internet. I write about product management, building teams, and being a founder. You should also expect introspective essays. I think Silicon Valley often places too much emphasis on the hustle and ignores issues like mental health.
If you want to know more about why I started Gaia, you should read It's Time To Build. What Matters. Consider reading Why I can’t do any other job to understand my skillset and how I create value. You may also find it interesting if you are still looking for your own superpower.
I write to learn and inspire
To me, writing is like therapy. It calms the mind and helps me with clear thinking.
Whenever I encounter a problem, I write about it.
If the problem is interesting and complex, I'll turn it into a Handbook of Knowledge. I research the topic, question its main assumptions, and then start experimenting. Julian inspired me to do this.
Getting my hands dirty is the most important part. I've never been good at learning if I don't apply whatever I'm trying to learn. The Handbooks are a distillation of that process.
Right now, I'm writing a Handbook on Getting to Product-Market Fit. Subscribe to my newsletter to be the first one to know when I release it.
I will use my newsletter to share tactical advice about product and building teams. Here, I'll get into the nuts and bolts of building world-class products and hiring amazing talent.
Expect content ranging from how I organize my recruiting in Notion to the system I use to ensure tight mapping between design and engineering.
Most of my essays are introspective pieces. I write these to clarify my thinking about personal development.
They offer a glimpse into my mind showing how I think and what motivates me.
I have a master’s in finance and economics from the Copenhagen Business School.
I have experience from startups, consulting, and finance having worked at Boatbound (acquired), KPMG, and an independent Danish investment advisor.
